A little about me...

Hello! I'm Quintin Washington. I am from Charleston, South Carolina and currently live there. I am also a broadcast journalist. I began my broadcasting career at WCSC-TV in 1996 as a news intern, and have worked at several local TV stations in numerous capacities since then. While in high school, I was a reporter and editor for Burke High School's weekly TV newscast in Charleston.

Moreover, I have written news articles and columns for The Post and Courier, The George Street Observer and The Chronicle --all newspapers in Charleston.

Recently, I was a host/producer/reporter for WLCN-TV in Charleston, where I hosted and produced an interview Web show called Quintin Reports. I interviewed newsmakers and prominent people for the station's Web show and booked interviews. Before the Web show, I served as a reporter for the station's weekly lifestyle show, Port City Live.

Along with television and newspaper, I have worked in radio as an intern at one of the top-rated radio stations in Charleston. Presently, I am the host and executive producer of an interview Web show on my YouTube channel called Quintin's Close-Ups™: 1-on-1 interview profiles of popular Charlestonians.
